Colin Dunbar
COLIN DUNBAR wrote the first draft of his first book in 1990/91 (was rejected by a literary agent).
Colin obtained his diploma in technical writing in 1987. The following year he completed a 1-year diploma course in freelance journalism (1988) through correspondence. He started on the web in 1997, running a web site for his technical writing business. Although he had experience of publishing manuals (in his technical writing career), this was a tremendous learning experience, and rewarding (non-monetary). In the same year he joined SBI!, started a new web site, and self-published his ebook, "Get What You Want." In 2007 he accepted a position with SiteSell, Inc. (based in Canada) as a virtual contractor (contract terminated 2011). |
For the years 2007 to 2014 he offered e-cover and book design services. In 2016 he self-published the first edition of "How to Format Your Book in Word", the second edition he published in 2019.
Colin has been happily married for over 34 years to an incredible supportive woman. Marinda has been his support and biggest critic over all the years.
